How Your Peace Is Being Patrolled
My peace is being patrolled
In the night I saw a man riding on a red horse! He was standing among the myrtle trees in the glen, and behind him were red sorrel and white horses. Then I said, “What are these, my lord?” The angel who talked with me said to me, “I will show you what they are.” So the man who was standing among the myrtle trees answered, “They are those whom the Lord has sent to patrol the earth.” Zachariah 1:8-10
Recently I was flying to attend a meeting in Birmingham, Alabama. I was sitting at the gate and talking on the phone when I saw something out of my peripheral vision. It was a large, sorrel colored horse with an officer riding. The horse and rider were moving at a pace of one who is on patrol. I immediately asked a question to myself, “When did they start using horses inside of the airport for security?”
I was having an open vision but didn’t realize it until a few seconds later when the horse and rider faded away.
I’m aware that not all Christian converts, believers, or disciples have open visions. Even some preachers and Bible teachers don’t believe in such manifestations of the Holy Spirit. Before I share the Word of the Lord spoken to me from this open vision, let me first teach briefly on the biblical validity of seeing beyond the veil of physical or natural senses.
1 Corinthians 12:10 describes the Discerning of Spirits as one of the manifestations of the Holy Spirit. This supernatural operation of the Holy Spirit is not the same as discernment. Natural discernment is an element of perception, it recognizes patterns and sees distinctions.
Discernment is valuable to all humans, but Discerning of Spirits is a supernatural manifestation of the Holy Spirit.
When this spiritual gift is in operation, it allows us to perceive the presence and origin of the spiritual force at work. Spiritual forces at work can be our human spirit, the Spirit of God, or the spirits of disobedience (principalities, powers, fallen angels, etc...). However, the Holy Spirit chooses to manifest the Discerning of Spirits is based solely upon the Lord and is not conjured up by Christians submitted to God.
If you are reading this blog and you still don’t believe in the supernatural gift of Discerning of Spirits, may I offer the suggestion of prayer? Ask God, in faith, for an understanding of how the Holy Spirit works in cooperation with believers. Now, onto the Word of the Lord that came with this open vision.
As in my pattern, I will share some of the revelations but not all of the revelations. Why? Because not all of the message was meant to be shared with the general public. However, I will be as generous as I can be given the limitations set by God.
Here we go...
God shows us in Zechariah 1: 8-10 that the earth is patrolled and is measured for peace.
In Revelations, we are also shown where peace is removed by those assigned by God to measure its presence. Several weeks ago, after a time of listening to God, I came to a place of peace in matters that I’d been enduring long term. As I sat at the gate about to board my flight, the Holy Spirit spoke to me about my trip. Holy Spirit told me that my peace, and the circumstances surrounding my peace, were being patrolled for the purposes of protection and safety.
The rider of this horse would be patrolling, measuring, and reporting during my trip.
My God! This news was a blessing to me and proved to be a most useful insight for the days ahead.
Romans 14:17 teaches us the connection between the Kingdom of God and peace. Here is another scripture to uphold, 1 Corinthians 14:33 assures us that God, the Father of our Lord & Savior, is not the author of confusion, but of peace.” Allow me to encourage you concerning the saturation of peace in your God assignment.
Find assurance in knowing that the perimeters of your ministry and life engagement are patrolled by riders who measure peace. This also means they measure the factors (confusion) that adversely interfere with the peace that has been established by God. You do not serve God in isolation. You are not standing in faith in isolation. Like Moses, the very place you position your feet, while on assignment from God, is not only holy, but it is also patrolled for peace.
I created (Photoshop) the blog post image to visualize what I saw in my open vision. To God, I say this, “Lord, thank you for sending riders who are patrolling for my peace.” I am relieved because of the throne-room assignment given to patrol angels. To myself, I say this,
“Cecelia, you are covered. Every inch of your jurisdiction, territory, sphere of influence, and the realm of authority is being patrolled and reported.”
What shall you say to yourself once you receive the revelation of God’s Peace Patrols?
