The Language Of God During War
Every time I read my bible, God speaks to me. When I pray and make inquiry and supplications, God speaks to me. Whenever I intercede, wail and moan before the Lord, God speaks to me. At times when I’m quiet, God speaks to me. I’ve not found God to be one who withholds wisdom, insight or revelation. Yet, I have found that God has more than one language.
The symbols of the Lord are fascinating to me. The visual cues of God pop out at me with prophetic flare. The challenge, however, is not in recognizing the voice and ways in which God is speaking. The challenge is in tuning into God’s frequency.
God’s current frequency for me right now is that of war. Without war, there is no possession of the promises. Without war, there is no possession of the gates. Jesus taught that the gates of hell will not prevail against the Church, and in Genesis 22:17 Abraham was promised that the gates of the enemy would be possessed. Each discussion about gates is a discussion about war.
God is the Lord of Host!
The Lord trains us for war, and when we have done all we can do in the war, the Lord of Host fights for us. When God spoke to Abraham about his future it was one of blessings that could best be described in the imagery of sand.
I’m grateful to God that I was able to attend #ANWA – World Changers Summit 2018 and receive the word of the Lord from Apostle Matthew Stevenson. The photo for this post was taken a couple years ago. While relaxing on the beach in Jamaica I snap this photo of my feet. I could discern the presence of God while I sat quietly but the language of the sand had not yet been decoded to me. Now it has!
My future is abundantly filled with God’s blessings, and the gates of the enemy shall be possessed. Why? It’s because I’ve done all I could, all that has been within my reach, and now the Lord of Hosts fights for me. God is the victor. It is so.
